David M. Sandri, President
David M. Sandri, president of Commercial Jet since 2000, has been responsible for driving the company’s growth and making the company one of the world’s leading providers of advanced MRO solutions. He is a forward thinking leader with aviation running through his veins. His focus is on streamlining operational systems and shortening production times to deliver greater value to Commercial Jet’s worldwide customer base.
An industry veteran, David has more than 20 years of commercial aviation experience. A majority of his career has involved managing heavy maintenance and modification programs on commercial aircraft in the aircraft MRO industry. He has managed programs performing work on B707, B727, B737, B757, B767, DC8, DC10, MD11, DC9, and MD80 commercial aircraft.
Prior to joining Commercial Jet, David served as vice president at Aeronautical Engineers Inc., a leading commercial aircraft modification and conversion company. He is an active member of ISTAT - International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading, supporting Member of Greater Miami Aviation Association (GMAA), and a member of the Miami Maintenance Management Council (MMMC). He sits on the Industry Advisory Board of the George T. Baker Aviation School.
David graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Maintenance Management from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Beach Florida and holds an FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate.
John Schildroth, Vice President Business Development
With an in-depth understanding of airline requirements, John Schildroth, vice president business development, is committed to helping Commercial Jet increase its share of the top tier global maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO), modification and conversion market.
Schildroth has more than 40 years experience in the aviation industry, including operations, maintenance and business development. Prior to joining Commercial Jet, he was vice president, MRO sales and service for M7 Aerospace in San Antonio, Texas. He was also president of a California aircraft painting company, EVP/COO of EADS Aeroframe Services, president and CEO of a Caribbean regional airline, and director of maintenance for several leading cargo airlines. A U.S. Navy veteran, Mr. Schildroth earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Stanton University. He is an FAA certified airframe and power plant technician.
Dale Mullinax, Vice President Operations
As vice president operations, Dale Mullinax focuses on streamlining Commercial Jet’s operational systems and shortening production times to deliver greater value to the company’s worldwide customer base.
A 40-year aviation veteran, Mullinax was formerly quality control manager for Northwest Airlines and senior vice president of operations for Timco, supervising five MRO facilities, He was general manager for Leading Edge Aviation Services prior to joining Commercial Jet. An aircraft mechanic for the U.S. Air Force, Mullinax is a graduate of Alabama Aviation Technical College with airframe and power plant certificates and ratings.
